Spring is here. Our fruit trees have just started to blossom... and our broccoli has continued to flower all winter with it's stunning yellow flowers. Broccoli, you say? Until this year - I'd never given a thought to how we eat the broccoli's buds before thay get to show there brilliant display ... so can I go out on a Gardening Australia limb and say 'embrace the broccoli flower' - they are the most beautiful of garden flowers and last well in a vase (as discovered by laissez faire vegie gardening types who like to experiment with things going to seed).

What lovely photos , happy Spring !
wow - who would have thought?!
Beautiful buds you have there! We all know it's really Tassie that should be called The Garden State, you know! No such thing as Spring in Brisbane I'm afraid... it's Summer already here. Love your garden blooms :) K
Since my husband loves that retro favourite Brocolli and Blue Cheese soup , I'd never get the chance . His reaction to the photo was " That's at least two bowlsful ! " .
Happy spring to you too!
Pity our brussels sprouts didn't flower like that.... ;)
You know, I can never quite work out why it's such a bad thing for all that going to seed bizzo to happen. It's a given it will happen in our garden because no one is paying much attention. Parsley flowers are gorgeous George too...
Oh yeah! My style of gardening, one I have to say I am naturally gifted in. : )
