Giveaway Challenge Looming ...

Alrighty - I realise I have been very lackadaisical about posting and keeping everyone up to date with this challenge! So those of you crafting away with some fringe like mine (and hers) ... then you just need to email me your pic of your crafted masterpiece by 10pm on Tues 29th September ... (gemma@lozanddinny.com.au ) or if you prefer - blog about it and send me the linky link ...then I will go into veritable conniptions trying to pick a winner (not of the nasal variety). I think I will have to enroll the assistance of someone impartial ... because I'm a Libran ... I have trouble making decisions ... and I'm already loving everyone's so far - have you seen this one? or this one?- and and and ... breathe!!!
and mine? Ok - so I will be the one pulling a last night job on this one ... I know ... I just have to find a hot glue gun and she'll be apples. Plus Tuesday is my birthday - I'll be able to complete it with a cocktail in my hand ;)

Edit: Another one here - fresh off the press

Oh wow... they all look so good! I'm still emerging from jet lag and very much lagging behind on my entry... ;) Not sure if I'm going to make the Tuesday deadline but I'll try! Alright, off the computer and back to that sewing machine...! :) K

I have spray adhesive, lampshade, fabric glue and trim.. now let's see if I can put it all together and make some magic in the next 24 hours or so.

I admit it. As scared as I was of that trim, I had a ball. Finished it last night. Would take a pic and post except for the fact that it is Sunday in spades over here. Barely a beam of natural light peeking through that ominous sky.

Good luck birthday girl. Probably best to have a pre-cocktail.

Some of the best things are created at the last minute. I'm sure the combination of hot glue and cocktails can only lead to good things Gemma!

I've left it till the last minute as per usual... I started working on mine a couple of hours ago.

Actually thought it was the 29th tomorrow so now I have a bonus day, so I might as well leave it another 24 hours then!

Why are YOU hyperventilating if WE have to finish the challenge? I should be doing that instead of you but I am so glad that the 29th is not today, like I originally thought, that I might be late and overshoot the mark anyway. I just look at my work and think 'another day' and have a little snooze. Or you could be like me when I have a giveaway and give everyone a prize! ;_))

Have hot glue gun, will travel.

But, oh dear, oh dear. have no inspiration for my own creation. I did see a Playschool episode where they made little sea anemones but wouldn't make for an impressive blog photo - my playdough rockpool and trim anemones! I was hooing to be slightly more sophisticated like all the others!

You only drink one cocktail a year ? I think you've got some catching up to do .
The entries so far are amazing!

Alas, Smitonius and Sonata, my cocktail drinking ways have gone East of late ... but then there is a birthday and the upcoming summer to try and get back in form!

Crafting 'under the influence', sounds good to me!

I might end up burning the midnight oil too. I know what I want to make, it's just a matter of making it!! :D

It's done. I went into depression today when I saw Curly Pops. She really went outside the square. But so did so many other people. This has been a fabulous challenge and no one will ever be able to doubt the useability (?) of trim again. I don't envy you in choosing because so many styles have been covered by all your contestants. Can we have another challenge? Please, please. Cherrie
