To zzzz or not to zzzz

Conversation over morning coffee:
Gemma: (Sipping) Do you think we will ever sleep again?
Duncan: (Sipping) No. Not for at least another 3 years.
Gemma: (Gulping) Oh.
Duncan: (Reloading cafetiere) Mmmm.

Therefore strangely bypassing an opportunity to potentially grab some shut eye on the couch ... I instead decided that one of the guys would just wake anyway and that I may as well embark on some simple sewing therapy. The girl was out with her Gran. It was already cut out. It's a long overdue present for a very special friend's brood. It was straight forward and mindless and ... relaxing.
The buggars slept for 3.5 hours. Straight up. That Murphy and his law have much to answer for.

Well done on the sewing and the babies sleep. Louis will only give me 20 minutes (out of arms and 2 hours in arms...) All I have sewn in 12 weeks is half a seahorse softie and mended 2 holes !

Before I even read the post...

THERE IS NO QUESTION!

OK, Now I've read the post. And actually, you did the right thing. If you'd gone for a snooze, at least one of the babes would have woken right at that point you started to drift off (so 0.234 seconds after your head hit the pillow) and then you wouldn't even have managed therapeutic craft time.

I know what you mean. I had a sleep the other day while Tamsyn slept, it was great but I felt I could've used my time better!

What you're sewing looks great, I hope we get to see the end result soon. :)

Sewing looking spectacular! Definitely worth it. Awesome amount of baby sleep as well. Well done you!
